COVID-19 RESPONSE

Because we want to continue to gather for worship, and because we want to protect each other as best we can, we continue to encourage masking as part of a multi-layered protection system that includes vaccination with a booster, masking, and social distancing. The 8 am worship service will be in the Chapel, and the 10 am service will be upstairs in the sanctuary.

On another note, influenza is also upon us. Co-infection with COVID is occurring and contributing to hospitalization. Please consider obtaining the flu shot if you have not yet done so.

The Sunday worship service will continue to be live-streamed and can be viewed on FUMC’s YouTube channel. The service will also be recorded for later viewing.

Worship is the centerpiece of our congregational life.  It is both the most routine thing that we do and the most special thing that we do.  It is the occasion when we are all together as a church family, and it is the occasion when we most deliberately enter into the presence of God.  We treasure our times of singing, preaching and praying together week after week, and we invite you to join us for worship.
